Hey, I'm Mick!
Avid doodler. Loving husband. Comic connoisseur.
I've always had a love for illustrated works, whether they're comic books, children's books, or animated media. So, I took a leap.
A scary, still-surreal leap to leave my career of twenty years teaching bartending and pursue my love of art and illustration.
Four years and an illustration certificate later -- I'm living my dream. Sharing the work I spend all of my time, effort, and bandwidth creating with the world. It's still scary, but I know I'm not alone in changing directions mid-life.

The Story Behind Our Gallery Walls
Where did the inspiration for these gallery walls come from?
Short answer: my wife's frustration.
Long answer: after my wife moved into my bachelor pad, she worked hard to change it into a space that reflected us both.
One place she struggled? What to put on the walls. She knew she wanted a gallery wall, but she wanted pieces that had it all.
They had to be:
✓ Unique » something that we couldn't pick up from our favorite big box stores.
✓ Hand Crafted » she wanted them to be hand-drawn (even if digitally) to give that effect only a hand can create.
✓ Simple » with full-time jobs it was difficult to take time and create our own gallery wall; she wanted something that was already curated to hang together in harmony.
Thus the idea for these gallery walls was created!
